I have a friend who is a cop of sorts - drugs stuff. They did a "dawn raid" based on supposed "intelligence" and pulled this couple out of bed in the early hours. The woman went flying naked against the wall - the guy ended up on the floor in the hallway..... then.... it dawned. This was not the folks they were after...
The "real perps" had moved six months earlier

I was a naive little lad before some shit was revealed. Over time I've seen some terrible shit caused by cops in the US - mainly thru a total lack of "intelligence" or "prior research".
Where I live now... the attitude of cops is just so alien to that in the US - there is a law which forbids any govt officer from attempting in any way to intimidate people - they are not allowed the "attitude".
The experience I've had with local cops is.. absolutely no problem. That was after I decided to reverse into their car and screw it up - we started off with a handshake and crept into a backstreet garage and they did a quick respray and we were all happy :-) The "attitude" is just totally different and these folks are not some "authoratative threat"...XXX TLD's - Another mosquito to swat.Comment
