    Have you ever seen a shooting star? or a comet?

    Saw a shooting star last night that went all the way across the sky. Was AMAZING. It had hints of green and yellow in the head, and the tail was orange and obviously firey and left a think chunk of smoke behind it.

    Went in and wawtched the news, thinking it may have been a satellite or something falling to the ground, but nada. Id have to bet it was a meteor aka shooting star.

    I can't wait for the next comet to come around, I've got my astrophotography gear all ready ;)

      I think i saw one twice. But i am not sure that its a shooting star. Might of been an alien

          I see them occasionally. There was a big meteor shower a year or two that was amazing. Just sat back and relaxed

              I work nights, and am a smoker who doesn't smoke in my house, so I spend a lot of time out on my deck smoking and looking up.

                          Does a meteor shower count? Saw a crap load if it does. They were only little short streaks. Not as cool as what you described.

                                              I've seen many- but nothing as cool as what you're describing- usually just a little white streak. None of my wishes on them have ever come true either. Maybe I should focus on small things.
