I think I should start a marketing forum for some of the sale's reps on GFY.
There are truly more efficient and intelligent methods.
Page views on a chat forum do not amount to better production or support of your product; and at the end of the day, creating anymosity belittles your real agenda and runs a very strong potential of coming back around to negatively effect you.
So, sale's reps, please note the following:
1) You never know who may have lots of traffic. You never know who may know someone that can get you lots of traffic. Ever.
2) You never know who may help you out in a crunch one day. You may not work for your product for the rest of your life. This is common sense.
3) Being a professional PR person is something you should always strive for. Some people think that because this is Porn, that cheap insults and drama amount to marketing. They do not. Your job is to get your company in a professional and friendly relationship with as many other entities as possible. Unless you have more money than you know what to do with, lay off the insult threads.
4) Forget about Porn. Do this job as if you worked for a mainstream company. Accept the perks of lienient professionalism gracefully.
There are lots of people on GFY that have helped me out greatly. I promote two outstanding products, own a personal venture and live pretty well, all things considered. I get traffic from people that are loved and hated here. My ICQ and even my cell phone host names of people that not only can help out the products I work for, but also can send my personal sites traffic.
When I compose the better portion of my post, I articulate in a professional manner. I do not open threads to bash someone's personal or professional life unless malicious intent has been aimed at me. Too date, it has not happened, imagine that.
Many reps could be making a hell of a lot more income if only they paid a bit more attention to the reality, rather than get caught up in the hoopla. Class will take you a long ways in your life, no matter what you may venture into.
That is just my opinion on things, for what it is worth.
