                                              There's no longterm money in cures. Drug companies seem to prefer "treatments" so they can make more money longer. One of the serious drawbacks to capitalism. (money, greed....the usual story)

                                                  One of those trips to Mars to take red pictures of a desert they had already mapped out years ago could have easily gone to feed the homeless or assist in the fight against infectious disease.

                                                          I'd have to agree with Bush & Richard Gere... I wouldn't want my tax dollars going towards the war. But I also wouldn't want them going towards aids...

                                                          If someone fucks up and catches aids then it's their problem and only they could have prevented it. Why should everyone else have to pay the price?
