The problem with fake nicks is not that they are people who already have a nick and a board persona. The poblem with fack nicks is that they are so seldom just that -- an alternative persona. Usually they have agendas and gripes (carried over from their "real" lives" or from their other nicks) and they come to here to do things one would only dare to do when HIDDEN.
I think all of us would find it quite amusing and entertaining -- not to mention enjoy the end of all the fake-nick-based drama -- if there were many more GFY personae who brought only good cheer, humor, intelligence and constant warfare against the mundane -- as does my FRIEND Chio -- whom I have never met, nor about whose TRUE identity I know anything of consequence.
