but basically how it works is that the sponsor puts in hooks into their affiliate program. whenever a signup comes in they report the signups information to clicktruth (the information is the transaction number from the processor and the affiliate id).

of sponsors shave. I was told that sponsors MUST do this in order to stay profitable.

So they copmpare your postback data from for example paycom.

What if you "shave" the signups to another paycom account...That way the audit won't see the difference....

Again not SAYING YOU DO shave...But just curious how the system works in this case...

Do they join themselve as well so now and then to see if they get credit? And do they join from multiple countries? I mean you can shave for example German customers to the "second" paycom account...
