It makes NO impact on a program if someone links to the affiliate program or not. It's the individual sites that matter. And even then they can use a hub like we do. We use 1 domain and send the traffic through domain IDs.
So all of our domains have lower PR than they could because the affiliates link through a single domain not the actual product.
It makes no sense that you would insult a program based on INLINKS to the sponsor program domain itself.
Not to mention Chris's program is new and resource links go up all the time.
