    ive just received a death threat :(

    a while ago i met a girl off the net, some chinese lady. we didnt really hit it off, and we just stayed friends and swapped emails occasionally.

    she is married and her husband found our emails, which were pretty much hi how are you emails.

    anyway i get a call from him, he is furious, says he is going to cause me excruciating pain, he knows where i live from the 2257 details on the sites, and i told him i would be informing the police, he says they wont reach me in time, and he knows people and he has a lot of money.

    im fucking scared shitless

    an officer is coming around later today

    arg.

The police may or may not give a shit when you tell them she's a married lady??? People chill over time. So the longer it goes the better.

                                                                                                  If you buy a guy, get trained on its use. If he made a threat, you can always file something against him in court. You'd have to prove it up though. That action would document the problem though and make it harder to do something to you without being a suspect. A statement is all it takes in most states to file an *Adult Abuse* action. That's done at the courthouse, not the police station here. I'm not an attorney.

                                                                                                              How much do you know about him? Full name? Full address? Phone number? Where he works? His local pub? If you can, get pictures of him in public - outside his house, outside where he works, in his local pub etc. Then send them to him with a note pointing out that you also know people... just don't tell him that you took the pictures.

                                                                                                              If you need some tips on finding things out about him let me know - I used to be a private investigator, you'd be amazed at the shit you can get on people with very little effort
