amp dude, i am with you

we just bought our first house at the beginning of the year, and once spring hit, i realized how much the former owners didn't keep care of the yard

i didn't realize it at the time, but I know see, it was a blessing in disguise...while it has been long and hard, i am finally starting to see results that I am love with and make me work so much harder getting my yard just perfect

my favorite thing, which is just starting to show up, is I took an area in the yard that used to have a tree with bricks surrounding it (now just a stump with dirt), and am in the process of removing the stump...but I filled it completely with hummingbird attracting flowers...i can't wait to see how it looks when in full bloom, which will hopefully be towards the middle of summer..but I have a feeling it is going to be awesome

i also took the entire upper level of the backyard where no one had touched it in years, and cleared away 2-3 years worth of pine needles and vine growth and outlined it all in red bricks slanted a little....and the planted grass and cut a circle with bricks for a fire pit

i am having a blast, and it is nice to see someone else on gfy that enjoys it as much as I do

i am out there every day, i can't wait til I get it perfect, i will post pics as soon as that happens
