Its not him thats special, its the breed (well with the exception of how beautoful he is)
Friesian horses originate in Friesland, Netherlands and Frisian horsemen served in the Roman Legions. The Friesian Horse is sometimes called the war horse. They are strong beautiful horses with the best movement of any horse.
Did you see the movie alexander? Alexander rode a friesian in the movie, they are used in allot of movies.
So why did I have him imported, because its cheaper to buy him over there and send him here then it is to buy one here. If you buy a 3 yr old here he will probably have been brought over from Holland anyways and the person selling him is going to make his profit thus making him cost more - so you buy direct from a breeder over there and have an importer here take care of all the arrangements. There are not allot of friesians here in the US, I think there are around 20 FPS approved friesian stallions here. I was not able to find one here of the age and qauality I was looking for and for the price I was looking for. I refuse to pay 30k for a horse here that I can get for half the price over there.
You have to see these horses in person to really understand how awsome they are.
