    XBOX 360... Is it gonna be just hype or a monster system?

    I don't own an Xbox because of a protest. It's because they made a favorite game of mine exclusive only to XBox after we faithful fans dragged along for years.

    Now the Xbox 360 made it's debut and will be for sale around Christmas. It boasts alot of features like 3 processors of I believe 3.3 ghz.

    That's probably more processing power than was ever used by all four branches of the military and NASA combined prior to 1995.

          I heard it premiered on MTV but unless you see it on HDTV it's useless.

          Now that HDTV is more accessible I'm amazed at what you see you didn't see before. I saw some classic sci-fi flicks that I thought were cool as a kid but now I see wires and strings all over the place.

          Also, women might want to try some new makeup cause HDTV shows EVERY flaw and fuck up.

                          It has three symmetrical cores clocked at 3.2 GHz each. With two hardware threads to each core. As far as the teraflop, not quite, but close. It does 9 billion dot product operations per second. But its overall system floating point is indeed 1 teraflop.

                                                  so far im not impressed with what ive seen other than the Ghost Recon Video. Graphics and processors power cant make up for lack of experience and gameplay

                                                                                              Microsoft bragged about Xbox before and had to recall em' if I recall because they overheated or something.

                                                                                              That much power has to do something practical for me than just make zombies look extra ghoulish.

                                                                                              I've become used to games for the PC. You can mod them out and the gaming NEVER ends. Platform systems are just that. Dead in the water after you max the game.

                                                                                              I just got "Revenge of the Sith" and it's neat in alot of ways but when it comes to the PC the shit is on! We're gonna mod the fuck out of that game.

                                                                                              Platform games are too limited.

                                                                                              I have to admit that Half Life 2 has environment graphics that are un-fucking-believable. Scary as fuck and twice so. Halo didn't do anything for me. It was just drive and shoot and throw shit and listen to people say cool military shit.

                                                                                              I'm wondering what Xbox 360 will eventually be able to do. Should we buy it for gaming or cannibalize the fucker to make a kick ass laptop or desk top?

                                                                                              One of these days somebody will advance battery technology so that we can take shit with us and play until we drop.
