I used to have the 2000 e55 and was looking for some more hp. brabus and kleemann are both located only 30 minutes away from me and I did testdrive the kleemann and brabus solutions ..
The Brabus was not really impressing .. The Kleemann E55K was a fucking blast .. 0-300 in a fraction of the Brabus time .. and the price was amazing .. 15k for a compressor with 200 additional hp was a real value ..
The only problem was the leasing company that wouldn't allow me to add aftermarket stuff from third party companies ...

Ever since they brought Porsche designers into the picture all their new designs are way too non-classic looking.
Mercedes used to be such a distinguished looking brand. You could spot one a mile away and they stayed classic looking even after many years.
