Read my post, they are not just worried about the ticket price, they are worried about putting the club in a huge debt and going bankrupt (if he get's 90% of the shares he can actually transfer all the debts onto the club). If that happens there is nothing to stop him from simply walking away.
If it was as simple buying shares don't you think this guy would have done this ages ago?? The fans have put together a group to try and buy every share they can get their hands on, but there aren't that many for sale.
Also btw. NFL is a completely different thing than English football, do teams get relegated in the NFL? No, you can go a whole season with out winning a game, and still compete at top level next season.
Look at Leeds and their history, next season will be their second out of the top league in England, that is what Man U supporters are worried about...
