Yo, since I've lived in LA I've been IN at least 6 car chases! I remember one night we were watching a dude on TV and sure enough he comes rolling right past our front steps! He even waved! We were on TV and watching at same time! He even turned around and drove past again!
On another time dude came down Hollywood Blvd and turned onto Vermont as we were walking to the Starbucks. Helicopters shot spotlight on us and my pal who is a 'Nam vet thought it was the VC comin' after him and he literally dove out of the way! I had to wave off the cops!
I just went outside and helicopters with spotlights again!
