I wish my wife was as enthusiastic about capturing the beauty of the great outdoors! Every time I mention "going for a drive" and "camera" in the same sentence she rolls her eyes.

It's a place called "Dicks creek" if you go north on hwy 129 you will pass through the town of cleveland, Georgia. Keep straight on 129 and head out of town towards blairsville. You will go about 10 miles, look for a small country store beside a bridge and a campground called turners corner on the river, turn left across that bridge and go out about half a mile, on your right is a road called dicks creek road.
Follow that road back into the mountains about another 2 miles and you will cross a small bridge and the road will turn to dirt, there is a $2.00 a day fee you will have to stop and pay after the road turns to dirt. its on the honor system, but rangers check vehicles for the sticker alot, so its a good idea to pay,. Continue on the dirt road about 1/4th mile and you will see the waterfalls on your left and a parking area will be up on your right. Good luck and have fun.

No problem. we were shooting at the first 2 waterfalls. there is a third higher up the mountain but I dont like going up there, a few people have died up there, bad luck, ya know.

Its actually alot of fun and something for a couple to do together. Only problem is I get kinda bossy behind the camera because I know what I like to see. but she doesnt mind so much anymore, she knows im just trying to get the best shots.
