    I posted this the other night so I will post it yet again...


    Here is my response to the idjits on gfy in regards to marketing...and the annoying sound banners.
    It's stupid shit...but you're gonna have people who are even more stupid start coming in with the posts like..."well it must be doing it's job if you're talking about it."

    Let me see if I can get this through your heads guys...yes the old saying is any press is good press..but the key element is you have to know how to spin the bad press...and there isn't a special helmet wearing mongoloid with one shoe bigger than the other on this short yellow bus we call GFY who has that talent...not one.



    And yes I'm so narcissistic that I felt I deserved my own thread. ....

          Really what happens is eventually we find a way to block the annoying flash.. and then all the advertisers and Lensman will eventually lose out.

                      Yeah I've had that happen on a number of occasions now when on the phone and clicking refresh.

                      Sure I can disable sound..blah blah blah but damn I have a million things to do and a million things going on in my head and making sure to disable sound during a brief glance on GFY is not one of them.

                              I'm getting close to doing this... I found a program that lets you disable flash for certain sites. That Dark Cavern banner at the bottom is the most annoying one because it plays all the way through no matter what. I don't understand the point of the sound.... "oh yeah, fuck that pussy"... we are NOT surfers.
