Personally being from the east coast and having spent far more time in NY then I probably ever should have, the towers are a staple of the manhattan skyline. I say build them bigger and stronger but keep the design the same. I saw a pic that AaronM shot of ny after 9/11 and I didn't recognize the city without the towers.

They were there for pretty much our whole lives man. As far as the memorial they said on TV that the families graded the plaza memorial with an F. I'd look up a source but i'm trying to install some weird scripts. I'm not sure reenactment, even symbolic, is the best way to memorialize it. Since those towers fell I can't get around southern manhattan for the life of me. I look at the city and it looks empty. Everytime I see the skyline it creeps me out, which sucks because its visible from my backyard and I love the city view.
