Everyone chooses different paths. In many countries serving in the military is mandatory. For those of you whining, I guess you should be glad you don't live there. Of course, not all countries are as "pro-active" as the United States is.
It kind of makes me sad when I hear people looking down upon and making snide remarks about the men and women in the military. Why?

I agree it is very disturbing. Considering men and women have lost their lives for years to protect the rights we have today. People died so everyone on this board could either sell porn or view porn. These men and women who serve for our country are heroes every last one of them. Being a veteran myself, it pisses me off to see all these people act like joining the military is an awful thing, when most of them could probably gain a lot from being in the military.
