I use to have problems like that too. My internal clock was haywire. I eventually went out and bought one of those "natural light" lamps. I have it on next to me at my desk while I'm working. It actually does help to keep me energized during the day, and then I'm ready for bed by midnight.
I'm not sure if it's one of those placebo things or not, but it works for me!
