There was some loner kid some years back that was always being picked on in school, I can't remember his name, he was pudgy, redheaded, and had really messed up ears. The only reason he killed a younger kid than him was to see what it was like.
Ask a five year old what happens when someone dies, they think its like Bugs Bunny, you get flattened, and you spring back to life like nothing happened in the first place. I wouldn't be too suprised if this was some sort of thrill killing for an older kid in the neighborhood.
I have to agree with Broke, lately Northern Illinois has been the scene of one too many stabbings and violent killings, the mother chasing her children around the house with knives really messed with me.
