take the train
Go in to downtowns union station take the train I think it is the redline. all the way to Libertyville, Ill.......From there it is a 10 minute ride to Gurnee.
You should stay the night in Gurnee accross from, Gurnee Mills Mall.
From there you can go to six flags.
