As a program owner you would know that 100 joins a day affiliates are the exception to the rule. Rui's objection was mainly to how effortless the "one person" made it sound and that 2 mill a year wasn't anything to brag about... when it was kind of as banal a statement as "only 2 mill a year? - pffft one person can do that!"
