Photo Editor Wanted (Outsource or US)

I tried one outsourcing company and I could not believe how poor of a job their "designer" did on editing/enhancing/touching-up a few photos in the trial run.

I need to hire someone who is experienced with making good models look excellent via Photoshop--removing blemishes, softening a few areas, smoothing out problem spots with a clone stamp, and blending it all together via layers so it doesn't look touched up at all.

I will provide examples of my original content via email to interested parties--I am looking for someone who is motivated enough to churn 30-40 photos a day. Open to paying per pic or for batches. If someone proves themselves reliable I would prefer weekly or monthly pay (rate negotiable).

FYI--I have been doing this and it takes me 2-3 hours each day to grind on them, but there are now more pressing needs to grow my business.

If this sounds like something you can handle and you're an ace at it, email me at [email protected].

Look at what the outsourcing companies charge and you'll have an idea what I'd *prefer* to pay. LOL

how would you like to do 1000 images a day 6 and 7 days a week on top of booking models and shooting them?

this is why when people lowball me on price i want to kick them in their fucking nuts. my guy goes the extra distance that few people in this custom content biz do.

You get what you pay for. I was dissappointed with the low quality of design work from all of the asian outsource firms, but then I realized that you are only hiring a willing, warm body.

It was screwed how they would pawn off 'webmaster' level people as 'designers'. Most of their 'webmasters' and 'designers' don't even have basic adult industry concepts and formulas. What do you expect? If they did understand the base theory, they wouldn't be willing to earn $400 a month since they would be earning 4 times that building and submitting their own galleries.

I think I have all the response I can handle currently from new potential candidates! Thanks for the inquiries and effort in landing my business--I found that a simple skill test weeded out the good from the bad rather quickly.

As it stands I have a firm I will be working with as my primary, and a few candidates for some secondary work in the coming days.

I agree with the comments posted above--many times simple employees who can do basic webmaster tasks are pawned off as editors and designers, and the work is laughable.

The previous outsourcing company I used for a one week trial failed to hit the mark on design and editing, but I could see where they might be good for simple conversion and admin tasks. The supervising staff were attentive, but the hands-on people failed to make the grade--and the middle management buffer made it seem more challenging than it needed to be.
