Well here in the US the minimum wage is $5.15 a hour or about $10,700 a YEAR. Per capita income in the US is $32K a year or about $2700 a month. Wal-mart the US largest employer takes pride in the fact that they pay their workers and average of $9.68 and hour( about $20K per year ) because it's almost double the minimum wage. Of course they convienently leave out the fact that full time workers often only work 30-35 hours a week.
