    I think part of the problem is, a lot of people get into TGPs and gallery building first, and a lot of those people concern themselves more with traffic numbers than dollars. Stay away from anything TGP related, focus your time on more productive traffic sources and it will be pretty hard to not make 4k/month working full time.
    Newbs should re-read this a few times. If you think that you are going to do well these days with a TGP and FHG's think again.

    If I look at what our top five affiliates are doing for traffic sources I can tell you none of them are using FHG's at all.

    Oh and fifty guys not making $4k a month....

                    I am - just barely. But I have 7 jobs: carpenter, cook, host, doorman, nightshift security, bellhop and parking garage attendant. Most comes from the doorman tips.

                                                                        To the thread starter is that $4k in total income or pre-tax profit or what. One could make $100K a month but if his expenses are $99K well then he's not doing any better than someone making $2000 a month with $0 expenses.

                                                                        Also some people do this part time as extra income. If someone has a $40K job and does this a few hours a week and brings in another $1K a month he isn't doing that bad now is he/she?

                                                                                                                            It's possible. Just think outside of the box and diversify your traffic sources. Blog traffic, SE traffic, TGP, MGP, free Site, AVS, Pay Sites, etc...

                                                                                                                            Diversify well enough and your business will be making money with limited time spent daily other than maintanance.

                                                                                                                            Is $4k possible? It's easy to pull $4k monthly off of a site that averages 10k uniques daily with the right traffic sources.

                                                                                                                                                                                                Well here in the US the minimum wage is $5.15 a hour or about $10,700 a YEAR. Per capita income in the US is $32K a year or about $2700 a month. Wal-mart the US largest employer takes pride in the fact that they pay their workers and average of $9.68 and hour( about $20K per year ) because it's almost double the minimum wage. Of course they convienently leave out the fact that full time workers often only work 30-35 hours a week.
