True, you have to have a certain sense of humour to appreciate Douglas Adams, who wrote the screen play before he died, so if Road Trip or Lampoons are funny for you, this is not the movie for you.
I think it needed more inserts from Stephen Fry as The Hitchhikers guide, becasue in the book that is where the humour is really.
It's the absurdity that makes is funny. Like this
