Don't think there are any spyware laws (YET!) but I guess you could catagorize it under "malicious online activity" or something.

Someone should find out what the code does once installed.
They have stated numerous times its nothing except tracking stuff.... they denied that its spyware or adware. If it does turn out to be spyware or adware maybe they can be charged with fraud for lying to affiliates about what they are promoting?Comment

Hmm.. Im guessing if he's willing to put in this much cash to LEGALLY go after them its much much more than just autoinstalling or annyoying popups and spyware.
It must be hijacking signup pages..
Autoinstalls, dialers, popups, spyware are one thing..
But stealing signup pages is another. Very serious shit.
If im wrong and you are just annoyed with popups and stuff. get over it.....
But the fact you are willing to go in 10k to legally go after em im thinking its more on the serious end. Stealing signup pages when the surfer goes to signup for a program.

I just dont want to come right out and name names or companies involved or people who are taking a huge hit from it in fear of getting sued myself.
No doubt affilates are noticeing the fall of signups, and when they start suspecting affilate programs, or certain billing compamies, or other things they'll move away just becasue of this, even if its not the sponsors fault.
So Im real careful with what I say.
