Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber is just out of this world funny.
WIll was funny in Old School, but the movie Old School was just overall funny, so it wasnt just him.

If you had asked this question 7 years ago, perhaps your response would be entirely different. Jim Carrey isn't exactly on the top of his game, in regard to comedy at the moment. Sunshine of the Spotless mind was a good movie, however it lacked in comedic value. I think:

Cable Guy and Me, Myself and Irene are the only decent films Jim Carey's ever made.
Will Ferrell is one of the Kings of ad-libbing along with Sean Williams Scott, Jason Mewes, (Sadly to say it) Ben Affleck, he has creativity and can come up with joke's on the spot, you can tell he's picked that up from stand-up comedy. Jim Carey has to work from a good writer and script other wise he's just a shower of shite.Comment
