you're fucked basically if you live in the states. they are going to deposition everyone and anyone that you know. just to annoy you and to muscle you because you can't. afford the attorneys for the potential 300 people on their lists that you came in contact with even at the supermarket.

It's not even about winning a settlement they claim a loss anyways they just want to make an example out of you for spamming. I would suggest not to hire any attorneys. because they want you to so they can drag out the case. attorneys make money on longer the case. i would just move all assets and claim bankruptcy. you can't win. i know i had to sit through a 8 hour deposition where the ms attorneys asked me questions about my customer.

thank god i had a strict spam policy i kicked him off my network 2 weeks in. he just bought space from me and since we run a neutral carrier colo he bought bandwidth from some other company for 2 years. the bandwidth company had to close down too. and the guy was hit with a 2.3 million lawsuit that they settled out of court. thank god because i would have to attend the court hearings.

Chris theres no need to worry about it. Ive been sued many times by microsoft for the same reason im guessing your being sued based on our previous discussions. What you need to do is call up sarah johnson or whoever is representing ms in their case against you and tell them you'd like to settle out of court. I don't suggest you fight it since the firm representing ms is bill gate's father's firm, preston gates and ellis. They've spent millions to prosecute only to see a judgement of $100,000 in fines. Don't worry about the swat team raiding your house and aiming a ak47 at you though, they just want to profit off the mail . If you need any more help hit me up on icq
