So there is 9 years difference between you. I see nothing wrong with that at all. My guy and I are celebrating our 3rd year together today and he is 7 years my junior.
I am 40 and he is 33. Before I met him, I was dating a 24 year old and I was 37. Age doesn't matter as much as how compatible you are. ;)
