If i move to lets say Australia , or Panama , or anywhere .... If i renounce my US Citizenship and become citizen of the new country basically Asskroft cant touch me correct?

Also I am implying moving everything out of US , servers , and so on.

yes, you can't have a legal residence here. also look for countries where they don't let the US look at the bank records. I.E. Antigua

You don't necessarily have to drop your U.S. citizenship. AssClown can always try to get you regardless of whether you are a citizen or not. Marc Rich did exactly that. He left the U.S., became a Spainish citizen and moved to Switzerland. The U.S. government still went after him, but without any success.

Personally, I have narrowed down my choices to Vancouver, San Jose (Costa Rica), Prague, Rio, and Budapest. All businesses not directly generating income in the U.S. would be located in a third party tax free (or reduced) jurisdiction and all U.S. assets would be owned by a foreign entity via a Nevada or Delaware corporation.

The U.S. isn't a very special place anymore. Most of the materialist stuff that makes the U.S. fun is now available almost everywhere: Cable TV, NFL, cool shopping, etc. is worldwide.

well with Australia, the United States could request your extradition (they have requested the extradition of an australian involved with software piracy), whether Australia obliges is a different story but they are pretty chummy and like to suck up to the US so there's *some* risk there.

Yes.. the "citizenship" is the problem. This has to be firmly renouced and all ties broken. Tho I've heard of people wanting to do this and whoever in the government rejects their kind offer :-)

If you are a citizen of another country and, unless you do stuff like "money laundering", drugs or arms trafficking or murdering folks - the US is not gonna have an easy time playing games with you :-) And, unless they kidnap you from that country - which has been known in the past, - you got no problems. (A number of countries have broken diplomatic ties over this "kidnapping" shit and seems the US has promised to behave in future - that rarely is a problem these days.)

When you are "free" of the baggage - you can do much!

Still working on that - the whole project is massive and is taking longer than we ever thought. It involves a load of stuff from an eco lodge to conference centre and community homes. It's progressing well - the planning stage is where the most work is and the aim is to complete that by year end. And yea .. I ain't forgot about the comms infrastructure!!

I'll post more as we progress - this stuff is ideal for "mobile" folks and offers a lot in the background!

Cost of living is... nothing! You can have a domestic staff - maid, cook, gardener full time for about $1000/month or less pro rata, depending on how much you want em to do.

In fact.. one of my friends here has about 8 people in his house - a maid for each family member and a "lady who sews" *g*, two gardeners/chauffeurs - he is paying out $1000/month for them.

The rest of the "costs of living" are pro rata - stuff like fruit is peanuts - banannas are 3 cents each etc.. tho some imported stuff is costs more. Booze is cheap..

I don't know if it still exists but their was a max income or asset level that if you were over it you could not renounce your citizenship. Artist were moving to Ireland for the tax free status on artists and the US was cracking down on it. Lost too many million dollar authors.

You do not want to renounce your US Citizenship. You may need it someday. Even if you do so and the IRS thinks your doing so to evade taxes, they CAN still tax you for 10 years after you renounce your Citizenship. Uncle Sam has a strong hold on his people.

Just move someplace you want to live, make sure your not going to get double taxed while living there, move your sites out of the states and enjoy your life. You also get a $80,000.00 tax break from the US after your first year (300 something days) of living and earning money abroad.

Cutting spending would be one way to go, however Bush has decided to spend a shitload of money attacking Iraq.

Wouldn't that money be better spent hunting terrorists???

Which countries are going to be are next targets (under his iraq criteria)? We've got a lot of countries to invade in order to establish democracy and freedom and to prevent weapons of mass destruction from being developed in countries that we don't control.

So, Iraq is first and then what country is next??? Maybe Bush had some other agenda??? Why stop with iraq? That scumbag (Bush) deserves to have his nuts ripped off with pliers.

So, basically it should be clear to you that Bush isn't trying to "cut spending" in any way but he would like for the country to spend money it doesn't have in order to promote his agenda.
