Why do Mexicans like the 4th of July more then most Americans?

most of my neighbors are Mexicans most illegal some not, I get along with most of them, however around the 4th they all light off fireworks and wave the flag of Mexico. I just can't figure that out isn't the Mexican Independance day the 5th of May? Most of my American neighbors just complain about it. Shouldn't they be the ones getting into it that much?

LoL I always thought they loved The 4th because it celebrated American Independence, and it created a border for them to jump across...

The reason they love it so much is because beaners need any excuse to get shit face drunk and act like the morons that they are.

Mexican Independence Day is September 16th. The 5th of May celebrates the victory over the French and the end of French control of Mexico by Napolean III.

Yes that is true but, now would that not make the 5th of May ALSO an independance day?

Lots of times immigrants have a deeper appreciation of the U.S.A. than people who were born here and take it for granted.
