    Why are BLACKS so addicted to the Democratic Party?

    I'm black and I've always wondered about this.

    Most blacks don't care to know or remember this but: The Republicans' support was crucial for passing the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

    Also, Lincoln was a Republican.

    The Democratic party's blind adherence to fucked up liberalism has caused more black despair than the Klan could ever dream of.

      both parites are crooks, i don't classify myself as either, i'm independant...juts like how some people consider themsleves as liberal or conservatives....you can't just be one, i'm liberal about somethings and conservative about others....

                                                                                  LittleMack: I have been reading your threads where you post and you always state how you are voting for Kerry and are a Democrat but then you go on to heap praise on Bush and the Republicans. Those two parties have fairly obviouse opposing views in the social and economical polices that the U.S. should follow. So you are eventually going to have to come off the fence and decide which issues are important to you and which party will best meet your interests. Now having said that I believe that you are going to vote Republican but tell everyone that you are a Democrat because you are a hippocritical Ass-Kisser
