                              If you REALLY wanna know it's a simple concept.

                              The very basics are (excluding goalkeepers) you can't pass the ball to one of your guys if he is nearer to the opposition goal than any of the opposition players. ie One of the opposition players has always gotta be behind you when the ball is passed to you.

                              Not the most technical description I know but should make the point.

                                  Hmmm...just started watching it. Seems the USA aren't good but they're fast and portugal are playing far worse. Go USA at least they (almost ;) ) speak a decent language
