Weird Question--Last Call? When?

it depends. downtown chicago some bars are open until 4 or 5 am. down here at school the bars close at 2am, with last call around 1:45 or so

In Ohio it's about 2:05-2:15, sales stop at 2:30.

Depends on the bar.

The law for Michigan is 2 a.m. (love that extra hour for day light savings time in fall ;)). But we do have some lame-o bar's over around that have last call in their bars at 1 a.m.

In many different countries I noticed that they almost never STOP selling...Im just curious.

wow so its not like a state mandated thing? Is it county mandated or just arbitrarily done?

some places here close at 2 while others close at 4.

even the hotels in ac are a little weird like that. some bars close at 2 while the clubs stay open until 4 or 5 in the same hotel.

depends, saturday nights bars have to quit serving at midnight private clubs at 2am
in the city limits they can stay open as late as they want, but most places are closed by 2, in the county they can't serve past 2

In most areas of Miami it is 5:30am, but there are certain zones, like in the arts district downtown, where there is no specific time set. There is a club called Space that OPENS at 10pm and doesn't close until noon the next day...

Towns/countys throughout the US make their own rules according to the vote of the residents.
