I think one of the funnier stories about this weekend was in regards to the hotel we were staying at. We called around last week to at least 6 hotels in downtown Montreal and pretty much all were booked because of the Indy Racing going on the following week. Anyways a good friend of mine from GFY recommended this place called the Chablis. So we called and there was room and it was deadly cheap!
Little did we know what we were in store for....
The hotel was in a kind of bad area of town and the hotel was ran by gays. There was homosexual literature all over the place and also a ton of gay art work up on the walls (no joke!)
The hotel manager was a very nice fellow but was even more gay than Hungryman if you could believe it. He was parading around the house in these arabian housecoats and outrageous outfits.
Also Kris and I were discussing that the hotel did not seem to mind that we had 4 guys in one room and 3 in another. LOL! I guess the hotel was quite used to a whole bunch of guys being in one room! (cough cough gay orgy!)
Overall I thought the hotel was pretty cool and for the price you could'nt beat it. It was just a very funny experience where all of us felt a little bit out of our elements. 6 straight adult webmasters staying at a gay hotel. Actually 5 straight webmasters (sorry Hungry!)
Hehe we have so many more stories about this weekend that are just hillarious!
