So now everybody has got their own YouTube how are you going to solve this?
as the YouTube guys? These sites seem to popup at a faster rate than blogs 1
or 2 years ago.......though I understand they're fresh way to send sales to
programs.....in a similar way as an TGP/MGP but that's where the potential
imho ends......given that fact I predict that within 6 months they're nothing
better or different than what regular TGPs/MGPs are today.
Of course to ride the wave while it lasts it seems that the majority of
sites that I have seen expect a hell of a lot more from it which unless
I'm completely wrong will lead to a lot of dissapointment.....most of
the people that start them try to build them into something "unique"
and new while that's impossible coz you can't compete with google
and if you can you wouldn't be doing this.
Apart from whether you make it or not to succeed to build up a goldmine
I foresee a lot of difficulties regarding 2257 and copyright issues. And I'm
not even talking about letting members/users upload clips that obviously
comes without any of the required documents, licenses which could get
yo ass into a lot of problems.
Even for self produced amateur clips this will be a problem coz without
all the documents to comply with the laws no processer will ever think
of doing billing for something like this.
