can you make BIG money in this biz without running your own sites?

Can you still make big money just from promoting other sites, or are all the big money people all running their own program?
Big money to me means $50k a month.
I like making more money but I dont like the responsibilities or legalities of owning my own sites.

Im not interested in becoming a traffic broker or host or anything like that, only in pushing sites.

Sure.. it's possible.. but not easy.

You could do that if you were really good with the SE's.. or if you were running one of the larger TGPs.

It would be pretty cool if some program owners would post in here saying what their top affiliate is bringing in every month.

I'd like to read something like "our top affiliate is making xxxxx per month promoting us".

I've seen those charts showing what it's possible to make, but nothing saying what people are actually making.

If you post a little contest where people can make $50 by posting and they jump all over it.
I've been at this a while and I do ok, but I've never been able to crack 5 figures a month. is it even possible promoting other people?

What makes you guys think running your own paysite is going to make you rich? The expenses and problems that come with running paysites are more than people realize.

If you can't make good money pushing other sites, I HIGHLY doubt you'll make good money pushing your own.

I think it would be safe to say there are only a very few people that make that kind of money in a month. Those that do have probably been in the business since the glorious first days. Right now, someone starting out...damn that would be really tough.

It's definitly possible if you take the time to specialize in certain kinds of traffic generation, throw some money into PPC programs and SEO the hell out of everything you do.

$1000 a day is possible without owning your paysites, but for 50k you have to be doing something special.

10-30K doable
50K+ hard...

So sure, you can push that many as an affiliate. Just study and do what other people aren't doing. Hell you can make far more as an affiliate than running your own program. It's all about the traffic. Running your own program is mutch mutch harder.
