The breed, the horses personality, disposition etc. What gives the most value is how well trained the horse is. Horses can sense if a rider knows what he is doing or not and will take advantage of you. IE not go where you want to go or even worse throw you off. A well trained horse will try to learn the rider and do as he wants. Hard to explain really. This horse will be worth 10k within a year if training goes well. He is very smart for his age but not too old to learn.
