    Girl Injured When Cellphone Bursts Into Flames.

    I'ld heard of this happening but this story is more detailed. For some reason this phone burst into flames causing 2nd degree burns.

    It'll be a while til they figure just what caused it I guess since they didn't state it in the story.

                      A couple of months back this happened in Europe as well, some kid got burns on his leg because of it

                                      happened 4 times in holland last yr with fake nokia batteries they seemed to get overheated and explode, 1 guy got seriously injured...

                                          the lithium polymer batteries in some cellphones can be pretty unstable. Alot of r/c airplane guys have started using them in thier electric planes, and have set thier garages on fire from overcharging the batteries, and thier cars on fire from flying thier plane, which gets the battery hot, and then putting the plane in thier car.
