Put my BMW ///M up for sale... ( pics )

    Ok, what gives???!!!

I have ad's all over the net and the local paper, but am getting no responce whatsoever! Am I not priced correctly? Here's the "Kelly's Blue Book" --> on it. Could it be "too clean"? Too many miles? What am I doing wrong here???

Here's my AutoTrader.com ad. --> I have ad's running with all the other car places too. Yahoo, roadfly, all the bmw boards, etc...

Any feedback on how to improve my chances of selling this thing would be greatly appreciated!

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

Yeah a bit high I think if you want a quick sale.. if you want to stand firm you'll likely have a bit of a wait.

I'm sorry, but your price is wayyyy too high. The price of a car drops significantly the most the first year. Once you drive it out of the lot, consider 1K off that day alone. Retail Value3 $27,505... that's the msrp price I assum, what's the dealers price? I think you need to drop a few more K just so it gains a little more interest.

Nobody buys used cars when you can get 0% financing and $5,000 rebates. You should trade it in for something else if you want to get rid of it.

The private party value is about $24,500....that should be where you start.
If you read the fine print on the retail value you'll see why its more and why you can't offer the things included in that.

Also, Kelly Blue Book isn't always accurate for your area, check some of the other books out there like the yellow NADA book and the black book.

On another note, people want to be able to say the blue book on a car is X and I only paid Y....so you probably won't even get the $24,500 for it.

I realize the deprecation is large in the first few years... but I think you misunderstood the kellys-blue-book... if you look at the details, that's the dealer price on a 4 year old car with 45k miles. My car's original MSRP was over $50,000.

I'm priced exactly $1000 under retail.

Still think that's too high? The car is absolutely flawless.

If I were you, i would look at other similar BMW M's being sold in your area and compare the prices. Try to make it within the same price range, or try to make it the lowest and you'll get the most responces then

I used to sell cars for a living. If you try and trade that car in you will be offered around 18K to 19K

The market is soft for this vehichle. You will get around 24k for that car max.

North American Automobile Dealers association is what the REAL car dealers use.

Make sure you watch ebay as well as the market in your area. The Blue Book actually can almost be worthless in some cases.

It's a sweet looking car. I'm sure with the right price you will have no trouble selling it.
