When I was little we use to play out in the ranch with the cows. I use to tear off a tree limb, that had lots of leaves, and tease the cows with it. I would poke them so they would chase me. We would laugh our asses off. Until one day one cow had enough and almost got me, it wasn't funny after that.
I haven't shot a cat yet but I want too.
There is a Mama kitten who is very farel running around the neighborhood and no one can catch her. I took her kittens, they are so fucking cute I love them, and I have potty trained them and I am turning them into good little kitties for homes. Well she is in heat again and there is a tom cat meowing outside for her all the time. I want to shoot the little bastards so they can't make any more babies. I wouldn't really do it, but it driving me crazy. If I take her in they will kill her an dif she stays she will make more strays. I am going to have a house full of kittens at the rate that little slut is going.
buy a havaheart trap, put some cat food in it and take her to the pound to be neutered when you catch her. I used to catch wild cats all the time when I did pest control, it's not that hard.
They won't kill her if you tell them not to, but you'll have to pay for the neuter. Sometimes if you explain the situation they'll neuter her for free and give her back to you to be released.

I have thought about that, but where do I keep her when she is recovering? The pound will not hold her while she is recovering. And how do I catch her on the day of her appointment to be fixed?

I believe a half pound of raw hamburger meat generously applied with sugar can make short work of a cat...I think...maybe its salt. Or was it Raid. Who knows...

Do you have a nearby Vet College? If so, they often take in the ferrel cats, spay them, then release them again. Releasing sounds cruel but often times the cats just can't adjust to "homelife" and they are doing very well in the wild (streets) it is just the constant litters that is causing population explosions and problems.
When I was little, had to be about 3 or 4, I got scratched by a farm cat in the eye. My grandpa found out and wasn't too happy. He took the cat behind the barn and hit it in the head with a shovel.
Poor cat!
I can still see the scratch in my eye, by the way.

Yes that is what I would like to do. Fix her and release her. Everyone in the neighborhood leaves food out for her. But now that I have seen the male his little ass needs his hoo haa removed. So now I have two cats that need to be taken off the street fixed and released. It's a pain. That is why I made the comment of just shooting them. Then I would not have to worry about it and it would be a fast painless death.
(I would never shoot a kitty. Unless it was in pain and couldn't be helped)
