    Why are there so many TGP's doing auto install spyware?

    I surfed some of my refer stats pages and got fucking spyware installed so deep in my PC that I am ready to scream. These are sites that I have galleries listed and who are trading traffic with my TGP's.

    Why in the fuck do these sites want to basically disable the surfers browsers? I mean some of this shit really fucks them up and how can they buy anything if they can't surf?

    I would like to see spyware peddlers get fucking hassled like the spammers and all the other fucks that deserve it. I think if someone knowingly fucks up your computer, then they deserve to go down hard.

      I was doing the same thing about a week or so ago, and it took over my desktop and fucked all kinds of stuff up too. It sucks. Then when we found the files and deleted them, they wouldn't delete.

              It's bullshit I hate it to I was submiting a gallery the other day and what do you know this fucken site install's every peice of spyware know to man on my computer I just about shit a brick. It's ok now but took a good 3 to 4 hours to get everything off! I am still contemplateing if I sould do anything about it these people relly need to fall of the face of the earth and die a slow death!

                  I guess times are tight, but how much repeat business do you think they will get? I am just going nuts with this shit changing home pages, blocking search sites and redirecting. Stopping you from fixing the shit.

                  I just hope that the spyware biz becomes illegal.

                          The worst thing is that with a lil thought and creativity there could still be money there.

                          There where some great heads in that herd but for the most part its now a bunch of sheep without a leader...they just kinda wander in circles.

                                                                                          The problems comes from people having some kind of problem with calling CJ sites what they are ie a CJ site. For some reason they now have to be called TGPs when they never really have been.

                                                                                          The whole business model of a profitable CJ site always has been dodgy stuff like auto-downloading diallers and these days auto-install spyware crap. All that's happening is the newbie twats starting up these CJ sites are finally realising how CJ makes money and doing it and now people are bitching as if it's something new.

                                                                                          With few if any excpetions true TGPs still don't auto-install dodgy crap and for the most part don't skim (ie aren't circle jerk sites). However some CJ sites do whether they're skimming 30% or 100%. If you want to keep clear of that crap then keep clear of CJ sites *shrug*.

                                                                                          Now there'll be a dozen posts from people running circle jerk sites indignant that someone has dared to suggest they're not really a TGP Well sorry to bust your bubble. If you're sending just about every surfer who visits to places he don't wanna go then you are a CJ

                                                                                              Spybot
                                                                                              HiJackThis
                                                                                              Norton AntiVirus 2004

                                                                                              If you can rid yourself of this crap without a rebuild, You've done good.

                                                                                              Google will help you with using HiJactThis. Tell them Google was your default page for IE.

                                                                                              Ban, blacklist and post the offending TGP URLs to the boards. But make sure you know who it was that really fucked you. Call the mofo on the phone and tell him to piss off.

                                                                                              Report hijacks to ligit SEs, the guys host, his registra and anyone else you can think of.

                                                                                                  Turn off auto trades in your trading script. This can hurt. Even if you do, some will still fuck with you though.

                                                                                                  Keep checking your galleries manually. This is work, esp after you have a few thousand in the data base. I don't know of a script that will check for all malware.

                                                                                                  You could trade only with partners and scrub harder than ccBill on a conversion. That also hurts and takes time.

                                                                                                  This is worse than a sponsor adding exit pages to their tours and not giving you credit on the cross-sales. Trying to figure out whiched pissed me off more.

                                                                                                      right click your taskbar, click task manager.. goto processes tag

                                                                                                      and basically look for anything thats like sdfsdDSF.exe, lotta spyware generates random letters and numbers as their filename to avoid detection nowadays.

                                                                                                      write down the filenames and end process on these, just make sure their not system processes.

                                                                                                      then search for the files and delete them.

                                                                                                      course, if they've messed with your registry their just going to get reinstalled next time you open your browser and trigger a redirect

                                                                                                          If you use regiedit in your efforts, a guide from a guru is a big help. You can find instructions with a Google search for the popular hijacks.

                                                                                                          Note that just deleting every occurance of the name in the registry won't get it most of the time. They use more than one name and switch to IP addresses some times.
