                                              Maybe if people understand death in gruesome detail, we will be less inclined to esculate conflicts to a lethal level. Every pro-war advocate ought to see every single death, on both sides. Tens of thousands of them. Maybe then it would be more than a sterile concept or scoreboard or a fantasy with a bright light at the end. If you're trying to imply that Saddam was an evil man who tortured his people and ruled with an iron fist, I agree. Should we have gotten him out of power? Absolutely. When I say "we", I do not mean the US and Great Britain. I mean a true coalition. If the UN decided he needed to go, then fine.

                                                                                                                  We (the American people) were lied to. We were led to believe we were in immediate danger from Iraq. That wasn't the case. Had we made a case for going to war over crimes against humanity we might have gotten somewhere. (Does that include THIS country and it's OWN history of mistreatment of it's citizens?)
