          harmon receiver
          mission center channel
4 mission surrounds for front and rear
          150 watt mission sub

                      i have this:

                      www.bose.com
                      click on home theatre systems

i love it, great clean sound, reasonable price... if you have more money to spend, i recommend carver amps, and mk speakers... but to let you know just the center channel on an Mk system will run you (for a good one) $12k..maybe more

Depends on how much you want to spend. Here is some nice gear:

                                          Receiver:
                                          Denon AVR5803 (A version)
                                          http://www.usa.denon.com/catalog/pho...021302.jpg&c=2

                                          Subwoofer:
                                          SV B4 Plus
                                          http://svsubwoofers.com/subs_b4_plus.htm

Speakers: Too many possibilities to pick just one here, but Klipsch are good for the money.
                                          http://www.klipsch.com/product/produ...line=reference

Unless you want to move up to separates or high end audiophile stuff, or want to spend more than most people spend on their cars, you won't find better equipment.
