It's amazing how many great entries have been made so far. I'm pretty sure some of the designers will be getting work from others (or KRL) regardless if they win the contest. Good stuff

Ok i'm calling it a day, i've finished off a new one / 2 variations
The previous one i made (posted below also) had lots of curves, the new ones are more square
Please note that the screenshots are not the entries, the flash ones are. All 3 of the flash headers are approx. 50kb in size

This is somewhat different, but it was just something i wanted to try.
Marlbor / diesel / mind retro thing:
Can be made in both flash and regular images - personally i like the still version, but a nice subtle flash could work too.Comment

i chose that pic cuz its the most neutral in my opinion. it could be lovers, but also good friends. this caters most audience. also the gradient under the men.com logo gives it some cool metallic feel.Originally posted by KRL

Okay, finally.... here's MR2Creationz entry.
And as what everybody is saying, everything can be altered as easy as 1 2 3. Btw, KRL remember i asked you if "Can it be on *mouseclick* ? " Because as you can see, the subcats are loaded on one certain location, and there's a "Little" percentage, that surfer might accedentally hover on another button while moving the cursor to the subcats. ex: hover on category 5, then they might accedentally hover on category 4 and the "subcats" will change to category 4. But the menus have enough spaces from each other, so VERY LITTLE CHANCE that they might accendentally hover on another one.
If this won't work, i can change the loaded actionscript to "On MouseClick" instead of "On MouseOver" event. OR Change the whole Subcats IDEA to somethin like "DROPDOWN" menus... or drop up? hheheh, pops up rather. menu 1-5 drops down, and menu 6-10 pops up like a scrolling menu if you really prefer "ONMOUSEOVER" event.
AND OH! ALMOST FORGOT... THE WORKING FLASH VERSION
