The Polish Sejm (Poland's Parliament) unanimously passed on Tuesday a resolution officially acknowledging the Armenian genocide. The document, initiated by the Sejm Presidium, reads in part, "The memory of the crimes of those years is a moral duty of all the states and people of good will. In the process of Turkey's integration in the EU, the European Union demands the official recognition of the Armenian Genocide and establishment of relations with Armenia." The resolution is awaiting consideration in the Senate.

With this resolution, Poland became the 9th State of the European Union to do so, after Cyprus, Greece, Belgium, Sweden, Italy, France, Slovakia, and the Netherlands.

Turks will recognize the genocide and give land and $$$ back. It's been too long.
