no...there isn't even a good black heavyweight right now. The heavyweight division ain't what it used to be.

        Doubtfull

Boxing is nowhere near as popular as it used to be. I am a fan and it is deteriorating fast, crooked promoters and loose regulations.

As far as the heavyweight division goes. Most of the kids with natural athletic talent are leaning towards other more lucrative sports that don't involving taking an ass whipping. The caliber of fighters in the heavyweight division is nowhere near what it used to be........

It's hard to say. Boxing is just one of those sports that's near impossible to predict.
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

I would hope so, just for the press it would get. Boxing is in need of a new contender for people to get behind.

yeah, I hope so too. I've always been a big fan of boxing and I started training it about three years ago. We have a pretty good club here and train three times a week, aswell as jogging in our own time. It's good to keep in shape and forget about work a few times during the week

haha.. I watched that movie again just last month... yes there will be another one, it'll just take time because currently I guess mainly for sociological reasons there isn't the white support base needed to channel kids off the street into professional boxing like there used to be. Whereas for african americans sport is still one of the more glorified paths out of the "ghetto".

We'll see a lot more eastern european fighters for sure.. Look at the way Kostya Tszyu whipped Zab Judah like he was a red headed step child and unified the division. Sure not heavyweight.. but I firmly believe it's more sociological than anything.
