    So I've been put through the wringer and had to part ways with my old/new job...

    What the hell am I to do?

                                              Life has a way of slapping you around a bit from time to time. I'll be honest...I wasn't confident in my ability to properly take care of the people I was with nor was I ready for the plans they had for me. They were good to me all in all and I felt rather than jumping into a situation I wasn't prepared to handle to the best of my ability I was better off telling them I had higher priorities to attend to; family health, a child and I'm in the middle of a move. The door isn't closed where I was, but I think I need to take care of my family before diving head long into something new and extremely time demanding. That's not to say I'm not available for work by any means...

                                                                                                              Thanks Josh, that's a really nice thing for you to say. And you're right on too, not being tied to a single firm gives you tons of freedom and flexibility on what you promote and how. Not to mention you're very creative in coming up with new (non-traditional) ways of finding surfers and converting them.

                                                                                                              Like I always believed though, being loyal to one sponsor with a majority of joins does give you some leverage to negotiate better payouts and ultimately earn more per hit.
