I've had a banner startle me when I had the sound adjusted for something else that wasn't loud. Last time I accidentally moused over the "Oh God I'm coming!" banner was the other day I had opened the window and it blasted loud enough to entertain at least some of the neighbors.
I did kinda like the AEBN yodeler banner, reminded me of the mountain climber game on The Price is Right
